Magic Trance accomplished a rare feat by winning three Group races in three different states. He Won the Group 2 W.A Derby in a flying 30.34 Best.
 
His second feature was the Group 3 Gold Coast Cup defeating champion sprinter Black Enforcer in a two out war. Magic Trance won by a length in a sizzling 25.72 Best.
 
His third feature was a demolition performance in the Group 2 Ballarat Cup. He defeated Mountain Dry by 9 3/4 lengths in a near track record 24.83. It was just .02 off Whisky Assassin's T.R.
